Uses for Moon Water: for cleansing ritual space, for anointing, for watering plants, anything you might use holy water for. Moon Water is the Pagan version of holy water.
Materials needed:
Clear glass jar ( I use a 1 gallon bottle with a secure lid)
Spring water or distilled water, or rain water, enough to fill the jar.
Instructions:
Fill the jar with the water and close the lid. Place the jar out in your yard after the sun has set on the night of the new moon. Wake early enough to bring the jar in before the sun rises the next morning. Wrap the jar in a dark cloth and put it away where no light can reach it. Do this every night from the New Moon to the Full Moon. By then the water should have taken on a slightly bluish cast to it. That’s all there is to it. Just make sure no light gets to it ever again. Keep it wrapped in a dark cloth and store it in a dark place when you’re not using it.
